I grew up in New York. Well, in Pennsylvania right on the edge of New York, then in New York itself for several years, before we moved to California when I was 13. (Ironically, my then-husband-to-be moved from NJ to CA that same season and ended up not far from where we ended up, though we didn’t know each other yet.) I remember going into town on the weekends and getting ice cream or donuts, and more specifically, Dunkin’ Donuts. Those little trips stand out in my mind, and I’ve always had fond memories of the yummy donuts and the shop itself. That alone is enough for a Dunkin’ Donuts giveaway, right?? **THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED**
So fast-forward all these years and I’m here in California reading about how Dunkin’ Donuts was getting closer to the Inland Empire, but not quite close enough. Then this week I hear one is opening in Upland..as in, 15 minutes away from me. SCORE.
Located at 352 South Mountain Avenue, the restaurant will open at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, and attendees will enjoy a free medium hot or iced coffee promotion for the first 24 hours. This new location will provide Inland Empire residents with Dunkin’ Donuts’ iconic offerings from freshly brewed coffee to delicious baked goods.
As part of the opening day festivities, the first 100 people in line will receive a Dunkin’ Donuts tote bag filled with special items and the first person in both the walk-in and drive-thru lines will be rewarded with free coffee for one year. In true Dunkin’ Donuts fashion, guests will be greeted with free passed samples, photo opportunities with adored brand mascot, Cuppy, and special giveaways throughout the day.
In honor of the opening of Dunkin’ Donuts, I’m having a flash giveaway! Enter via the Rafflecopter widget below — the contest begins today and runs through March 12, with the gift card being mailed out directly from the PR company who is providing it to me. And even if you don’t win, head on over to try some fantastic donuts and the coffee you’ve all heard about!
I hope they open one in the San Fernando Valley soon! I’ve had their coffee while in Arizona & although I could get the Keurig version, it’s not the same thing.
