I’m so excited that Rancho Cucamonga is a host town for the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles next month! Read below for the schedule of activities, and visit their website and Facebook page for further details.

I’ll be there to encourage and cheer on these amazing athletes and delegates — what about you?

ETA: Did you attend the ceremony? Kudos to Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding cities for their wonderful response to the visits. I’m so glad to say our local cities came out in spades to congratulate the athletes and show them how proud we are to have been a host city. I hope we get the opportunity to do this again in 2017!

I’m Donna, Marvel geek and creator of Dangerous Cupcake, a Southern California lifestyle blog dedicated to living a fun but healthy-ish multicultural mom lifestyle.  As my four kids grow and enter different stages of their lives, I get to do the same, loving Disney, Marvel and having fun, not letting my age change anything. My youngest is a senior in high school, so family activities have changed and my schedule is more my own now in some ways. Join me in learning how to live life as the kids grow up without totally starting over. Find yourself or recreate yourself ……maybe even live dangerously, because life should never be boring.
