New Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Posters and Featurette
In case you missed it, Marvel’s newest movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie hits theaters on November 11, and I can’t wait! Below I’ve got some of the new Wakanda Forever posters and a featurette to watch.
Like every other Marvel fan out there, I’m curious to see where the story line on this newest Marvel movie goes, with the absence of the incredibly talented Chadwick Boseman. It’s so hard to envision Wakanda without him, but I know this movie was made with love and dedication. I was at the D23 Expo when his brother, a minister, gave a dedication to him when he was given a Disney Legends award. I want to love the movie still, but I honestly don’t feel like it will ever be the same because he’s left big shoes to fill.
That said, I am a major fan of Angela Bassett, Lupita N’yongo and Letitia Wright, and I am excited to see where this movie takes them.
Major cast for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever features Letitia Wright (Shuri), Lupita Nyongโo (Nakia), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Winston Duke (MโBaku), Florence Kasumba (Ayo), Dominique Thorne (Riri Williams), Michaela Coel (Aneka), Mabel Cadena (Namora), Alex Livinalli (Attuma), Tenoch Huerta (Namor), Martin Freeman (Everett Ross) and Angela Bassett (Queen Ramonda).
Here’s a brief summary of it, straight from Disney’s press release:
Queen Ramonda, Shuri, MโBaku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King TโChallaโs death. When Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, alerts them to a global threat and his disturbing plan to thwart it, the Wakandans band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.
You may have seen these new character posters on social media already, but just in case you haven’t, enjoy! Which one is your favorite? I’m going with this top row. I watch Angela Bassett on her weekly TV series, 9-1-1. She’s so beautiful!
