Admit it, you read it in the tune of the song, right?

No worries, I didn’t either.

Can you believe it’s the 40th anniversary of this movie? Now I feel old.

In honor of the big anniversary, Paramount Studios sent me this awesome Grease gift package, including the Blu-ray, a Pink Ladies jacket and a set of nail polishes to really get into the spirit. Didn’t we all want one of these jackets when we watched the movie?

The movie is out again in new format as of April 24, and here’s some info, straight from Paramount, about what’s on each version:

We loved the Rydell High year book too!

My oldest daughter watched Grease over and over and over for a while there. When I told her it was on its 40th anniversary, I texted her “Grease is the word” along with a picture of the Pink Ladies jacket. “Movie night?” I believe the response was HECK YES.

So we did. Pink popcorn, pink drinks (well, red-ish pink) and pink toenails. No guys allowed. We had a blast! You can try out this special-edition set of O P I Nail polish at Ulta Beauty, too. (Tag #OPIGrease if you share on social!) We also took turns wearing the pink jacket and the scarf, but I made a mistake and got a large thinking it was snug. Oops.
