Macy’s Culinary Council Presents Johnny Iuzzini in Del Amo on 10/9!

I have been a long time food tv watcher — working at home, I like to have background noise, even if I’m not watching it directly. Food tv is perfect, because I pick up a lot of good tips and ideas throughout the day, frequently getting inspired with ideas for dinner that night. Win-win! One chef I’ve had the pleasure of watching is Johnny Iuzzini. His witty commentary and fun food ideas makes him a favorite. Now, courtesy of the Everywhere Society And Macy’s Culinary Council, I get to go to a cooking demo with him next week!

Held at the Macy’s in Torrance, California, at the Del Amo mall on October 9 at 6pm, Johnny’s going to be sharing about his new cookbook, “Sugar Rush,” a book full of dessert recipes. Even the name sounds fun and I haven’t even seen the book yet. There are going to be samples to enjoy and if you spend $75 in the Home department, you’ll receive a $10 Macy’s gift card AND a copy of Sugar Rush! Visit their website, linked below, for more details on that offer.

**I am a member of the Everywhere Society and Everywhere has provided me with compensation for this post. However, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.**

I will be live tweeting and posting to Instagram from the event, so if you can’t go, you can follow along via my social media accounts. You can also read more about the event here. You can also follow along on their Twitter accounts, @CulinaryCouncil, @Johnny_Iuzzini and @Macys.

You can find the event at the Level 1, Home Store department. Come early to assure you get a seat. (And with the traffic up there on a Friday night, you might want to give yourself some extra travel time.)

I’m Donna, and I’m not a mommy blogger.
I’m a Gen X mom of four, a Marvel geek and creator of Dangerous Cupcake, a Southern California lifestyle blog dedicated to life after the kids grow up. As my kids enter different stages of their lives, I get to do the same, having fun, loving Disney, watching Marvel, and not letting my age define anything. Phase 2 of life is pretty amazing, and midlife isn’t a bad word. Join me in changing focus and enjoying life during our next adventure, without totally starting over. However you do it, life is short, live a little dangerously.
