Lego Movie 2 Giveaway: May 7 on Blu-Ray

Everything is awesome…..right? Of course it is!

Even more awesome is that I’m hosting a Lego Movie 2 giveaway here on the blog!

Keep reading for information on how to enter the giveaway, after some ‘straight from the press release’ information about the movie.

Reprising their starring roles from the first film are Chris Pratt (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Jurassic World”) as Emmet; Elizabeth Banks (“The Hunger Games” movies, “Love & Mercy”) as Lucy, aka Wyldstyle; Will Arnett (“The LEGO® Batman Movies,” TV’s “Arrested Development”) as LEGO Batman; Alison Brie (TV’s “GLOW,” TV’s “Community”) as Unikitty; Nick Offerman (“Fargo,” TV’s “Parks and Recreation”) as MetalBeard; and Charlie Day (the “Horrible Bosses” movies, TV’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadephia”) as Benny. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish (“Girls Trip,” “Keanu”) and Stephanie Beatriz (“Short Term 12,” TV’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) as new characters Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi and General Mayhem, respectively, and Maya Rudolph (“Bridesmaids,” TV’s “Big Mouth”), as Mom.

If you haven’t seen the first movie, you can still enjoy this movie, but it does take place five years after the first one, with the familiar cast facing a new challenge: the invasion of the LEGO DUPLOS invaders! It’s as awesome as the first movie, with more fun adventures and challenges for the characters, and the music is just as fun and engaging.

I was given a free copy of the movie to watch so I could write this post, and we watched it as a family! It’s the perfect family movie night movie, and we even had some of the Lego candy as we watched.

Rules for the Lego Movie 2 giveaway are simple: void where prohibited by law, only one winner per household, winner must be at least 18 years of age and must reside within the United States. Winner must respond to email notification within 48 hours with mailing information; prize fulfillment comes from the public relations company. Failure to respond with information within time results in forfeiture of prize and another winner will be randomly drawn.

The movie comes out on May 7th, so you don’t have long to wait to see it again yourself, in the comfort of your own home or wherever you want to watch it on your mobile device. It’s a fun family movie, but it’s okay, if you watch it without kids, we won’t tell.
